Before ONE X LEAGUE, which is the private social league for Black women executives and founders, there’s ONE NEXT LEAGUE. All career journeys have a beginning, before one becomes an executive or founder, and ONE NEXT LEAGUE is the space to ensure that your beginning is great. We want to share all of the tools, stories, resources, and insight so that the journey of your NEXT is better and bigger, as defined by you.

ONE NEXT LEAGUE is for emerging Black women / those who identify as women who are interested in access and growth in the areas of career, wellness and entrepreneurship. It’s for those who desire and appreciate the insight and mentorship of experienced Black women executives and founders that are interested in being a resource. And it’s for those who value relationships and will commit to interacting with fellow Members / employees of ONE NEXT LEAGUE with kindness, compassion and support.

Emerging – individuals with 5+ years of work experience (not including internships)

Managing – individuals who are currently:

1. In director or manager level roles; and/or
2. Business owners (in business for 1+ years)

Both membership levels will receive:

• Access to our private virtual Member Suite where members can connect with each other and access our career, wellness and entrepreneur resources
• Insight from and connections to the Black women executives and founders of ONE X LEAGUE
• Members-only events and experiences (live and virtual), including our monthly virtual sessions and quarterly in-person summit
• Opportunities and perks from our partners
• And much more!

In addition to the benefits above, Managing Members will have:

• Access to resources designed exclusively for those who manage team members / large projects
• Invites to one in-person exclusive ONE X LEAGUE event per year to connect directly with Black women executives and founders
• Access to tools and insight to prepare them for senior and executive level career opportunities
• Access to resources to grow their business
• Members in good standing will receive preferential and exclusive access to membership into ONE X LEAGUE (when they transition to a VP+ level role)

*Note: Though candidate’s desired membership level will be requested, ONE NEXT LEAGUE will make the final determination on all member’s levels.

You sure can. You’ll just need to submit a membership change request and it will be reviewed within thirty (30) days. If approved, you’ll just need to pay the difference in membership dues prior to your membership level and access upgrade.

Interested candidates who meet the initial qualifications listed above (under “Who’s ONE NEXT LEAGUE for”) should submit a membership application. Applications are reviewed by the Membership Committee and all candidates will receive a decision update via email. If additional information is required before a decision can be made, candidates will receive an email with a request for additional information. If a candidate is approved for membership, they will receive an email with instructions on next steps, including how to submit membership dues.

There are two levels of membership:

• Emerging is $145 USD per year
• Managing is $495 USD per year

We’re offering complimentary membership for 2024.

Yes. Upon membership approval, we can provide you with details on how to submit a request to your employer to cover your ONE NEXT LEAGUE membership dues.
